MTK conversion packs, underframe packs and bogies

Undeframe packs

These enable the improvement of ready-to-run models and plastic kits. By replacing the ‘moulded plastic box’ on RTR stock with these components, a much more realistic 3-dimensional appearance is created, while use of the packs for plastic kits will add weight just where it’s needed, and the ‘bulk’ that you can’t get with flat etchings. Most packs also include MTK drawings, which show the position of the various fittings.

DMU/EMU Conversion Packs

These packs primarily include cast whitemetal ends & underframe fittings, together with ex-MTK instruction drawings showing layout of the body and underframe for each vehicle, to enable conversion of RTR models. They are not comprehensive conversion kits - more an aid to kit-bashers. Available as production allows.
